Historic offices at Wilderspool Park
With its four distinct heritage buildings and landscaped outdoor spaces to enjoy lunch, few Warrington offices and business hubs boast as much character as Wilderspool Park. Formerly the home of Greenall’s Brewery, it’s retained its original charm with exposed brickwork, sash windows and beamed ceilings.
Made up of the Malt Building, Brewhouse, Quayside and grade II listed Whitehouse, Wilderspool Park caters for businesses of all sizes with serviced, leased, and all inclusive office offerings.
Next door to Stockton Heath village, the business park is also well-connected to Warrington, Manchester and Liverpool.
Located just a stone’s throw away from the village of Stockton Heath, Wilderspool Park is close to a vibrant selection of shops, bars and restaurants. The attractive streets are lined with independent boutiques, homely cafes and sophisticated restaurants. For commuters, there are convenient road and rail links to Warrington, Manchester and Liverpool, with the nearest station just 1.5 miles away.
The site is steeped in history thanks to its rich roots in the brewing industry.
In 1786, Thomas Greenall purchased the site, transforming it into a thriving business that put Warrington on the map. By 1791, Greenall’s had become the largest brewery in the North West, thanks to locally grown grain and Warrington’s strategic transport links, including the Manchester Ship Canal. As the town’s largest employer, the brewery maintained close ties with the community, a legacy that remains today.
The Whitehouse, a beautiful Grade II listed building, was built in 1787 and originally served as the Greenall family home until 1838, later housing the brewery manager until around 1900.
Discover the next home for your business at Wilderspool Park, where original heritage features complement modern workspaces. Four former brewery buildings with an independent coffee shop and landscaped grounds, right next door to Stockton Heath village.
